  • Functional limitations inherent to pregnancy may increase the risk of obstetric complications, reduce adherence to prenatal care, and limit access to essential services. In the Peruvian context, where geographical, economic, and social disparities influence maternal care, the early identification of functional disability would allow health services to be adapted to the actual needs of pregnant women, ensuring inclusive, continuous, and high-quality care.
  • The objective of this study is to determine the degree of functional disability and its associated factors among pregnant women attended at a public hospital in Peru.
